Directions

  • From New York Area

    • Take I-95 North to Exit 16. Make a right at the end of the exit onto East Avenue.

      Go straight on East Avenue, under the railroad overpass, straight through the light and bear left around the cemetery.

      Turn slightly right onto Gregory Boulevard. Continue straight on Gregory Blvd.

      Going past the large monument (on the left). Follow the two yellow “NO OUTLET” signs to the end of the Road. You will see the entrance gate to THE SHORE & COUNTRY CLUB ahead of you.

  • From New Haven Area

    • Take I-95 South to Exit 16. Make a left at the end of the exit onto East Avenue.

      Go straight on East Avenue, under the railroad overpass, straight through the light and bear left around the cemetery.

      Turn slightly right onto Gregory Boulevard.

      Continue straight on Gregory Blvd. Going past the large monument (on the left). Follow the two yellow “NO OUTLET” signs to the end of the Road. You will see the entrance gate to THE SHORE & COUNTRY CLUB ahead of you.

  • To Visit the Club by Boat

    • The official channel from Long Island Sound is from the west of the Norwalk Islands and begins at Greens Ledge Light. Keep the lighthouse starboard and proceed down the well-marked channel in Sheffield Harbor and pass the power plant to port. After Can "17" and before Can "19", you will see the Club guest dock on your right. It is the first dock; the second is for Junior Sailing. There is plenty of water on the outside of the dock (12' - 20') but not inside. Approach from the channel as there are rocks along the shore south of the dock. The dock has water and 120V hook up.

      If coming from the east, an alternate channel is through Cockenoe Harbor. Enter by keeping Pecks Ledge Light to port and follow the well-marked channel directly towards the power plant stack on Manresa Island. At Can "11" turn right and pass between Can "15" and the 26' light station, "14". Ignore Nun "12", keep it to port. It is part of the official channel you are now entering. Continue to Can "17" as above.
